Our 5th graders are currently participating in a See’s Candy fundraiser through January 30 to help support their Walden West Outdoor Science Camp in Spring 2026. For those who don’t know, science camp is an annual tradition at Love where 5th graders gets the opportunity to have a hands-on, nature-based learning experience that truly transforms how our students learn and see the world. Science Camp helps our students connect what they’ve learned in the classroom to the beauty of nature. For many students, it’s also their first time away from home, first time under the stars, and a great place for them to start to build their independence and confidence.
Proceeds from this fundraiser go directly toward lowering the cost per student so all our 5th grade students can experience this amazing opportunity.
