Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 4-8, 2026!
Here is the PTA’S gift giving guide for Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.
Monday, May 4 – Donate towards the Teacher and Staff Appreciation Happy Hour this Friday May 8th! (contact Dads Club at dadsclub@lovepta.org to donate)
Tuesday, May 5 – Show appreciation to all the Love Elementary teachers and staff with gifts, cards, tea, coffee or snacks. You can find details on what some of our teachers and staff like here. (Please note: not all participated in this list).
Wednesday, May 6 – Have your child draw a picture or a card for their teacher or staff that they can bring into school and deliver to them.
Thursday, May 7 – Donate classroom supplies (reach out to your teacher to see what is needed. Usually they need tissue, wipes, cleaning wipes or sprays)
Friday, May 8 – Send a quick email, handwritten note, or virtual card to your teacher or staff to say thank you for all they do.
We know you may have your own ideas for how to appreciate teachers this week (window signs? sidewalk chalk art? music videos?)! If you want to share any photos of your projects, please send to communications@lovepta.org and we will share on PTA social media (with your permission, of course).
